Ajna
“First there was Darkness, and then there was Light.”
I brought this sphere into play and was like yes.
This was in line with the Anahata and even Vishudda behind the ease at which it was created.
Now that we are the Ajna, I like to mention one thing before we dive deep.
I have been writing all of these blogs on this series in one run and so far its been 4 hours. I started just after finishing Sahasrara. The time is irrelevant. Its that as i have began writing and the more I continued, the pressure at my third continued to grow in intensity. It’s at the equivalent pressure of a migraine.
Which did you know headaches are a direct sign of a major blockage in the third eye? Don’t fret, I pulled that from the cat’s hat, completely nonfictional.
This artwork might be my favorite. no well, I thought so until I fell deeper in love with the next. why? well, violet. Violet or more specifically lavender is my favorite color.
Being able to bring out such a rich vibrant shade of various violet was so joyous.
That sphere was alright more.. morose? drab? dull? dead? I am not particularly sure about the wording, but I knew that color wasn’t it. It wasn’t until I duplicated then did a screen effect on of the layers that brought out the richness. That really gave it life, a glow
I actually struggled with the colors of the background for a bit originally wanted them a bit lighter, but it blended in with the sphere and the energy line too much. that dislike of the lack of balance between value tones was the artwork’s own subtle desire to stand out. Then the dark purples.
Really wanted to say purple. Trying to be all color correct by using violet, how boring, I create from my child space and purple is meant for a child, and well it’s fun to say. so purple nurple.
After the purple came the yellow. Having lined it all with a dark navy blue I got my colors for the eye. Let me tell you what, yes not only symbolic, more so than it just being an eye, but it really brought in a great deal of balance between the colors. It was because of the linework it did not feel it took anything any way from the focal point. The last bit was the yellow diamonds that came last. That was put there the draw attention to the many symbols of Ajna. In my humble opinion, the balance was still kept.
As always the energy line is great, gold, beautiful. Fantabulous. There was an effort to strive for something a little similar to the Anahata. That was the aim to bring sort of an “infinite loop” of the energy constantly moving in and around itself.
At this point in the journey, I was really taken back by the quick growth in my skills not only technical ability with working with the interface of Procreate but also the actual artistic skill that was necessary to produce these works. What’s neat about this series was it’s the first where the subject matter was the same. A ball of energy, sure each sphere of energy was different in the details, but at the core, it was all the same. (Which is only another moment of symbolism, shall we unpack it? Not today ;))That truly allowed me to more properly gauge my growth. To have pushed these works out in only a week? I mean that is a lot of growth and no sleep.
I say that as a small moment of advice, if you are pursuing something hone in on one thing and perfect that one thing. Once it is mastered you can take those foundational skills you learned and apply them elsewhere. Increasing the speed at which you are able to learn new material, and this concept can be replicated over and over in any subject matter.
I will definitely be taking the skills I learned from this series with me into future journeys of other projects.
Some of the skills were simple layering and grouping. Each pc is maxed out at nine layers. To get the patterns of the background I had to duplicate over and over, which is difficult to do with only 9 layers, that is where grouping came in.
Yes, I could have drawn each one, but not only would that have been time-consuming, more importantly, but it would also have taken a great deal out of the symmetry adding havoc to balance.
I learned some preparatory steps to take before beginning to duplicate. Going back to the “perfecting one thing” principle, that played out here. Perfect one portion of the pattern then duplicate. This becomes incredibly useful when adding colors.
It was a joy to look at the different effects that can either add to or take away from the piece, such as the “screen effect”. That was used a lot on most of the spheres, to bring out more brightness and add to the glow effect I was striving for.
“Multiply” was a neat one as well as “linear burn”... linear burn I specifically used on the flowers in Vishudda.
Okay on to the fun bittsies.
It’s kind of interesting how the Ajna floral outline, resembles the Muladhara. I did not paint the floral aspect in that piece, because I was more focused on the structure aspect. If you notice many of these pieces have a triangle in them, or as the case of Muladhara the square. There is the symbolism behind this but if I am honest, there is some information I am missing, therefore unable to shed light on that aspect.
Okay, so this is where things get a little deep. I’ll have to explain a little bit.
When looking at the key of immortality, or qabalah yo— Woah. Yeah not that deep, not even relevant to the revelation at hand.
phew, that was close. Almost spelled disaster mixing up two different systems, I mean they work in unison… but not the point.
The Muladhara is a place of beginning. For when you have gathered the abstract principles brought them down through the various chakras, you come to the ground. ground zero. The original point of ascension sort of speak.
This is when the tests are enacted. Before everything was abstract, but now you have to take all those energies that gained in magnetism and density and apply them through that process of creation that I mentioned earlier.
Bringing that kundalini skywards.
Once it hits the pineal gland, or in greek terms, the ambrosia, whole other allegory, don’t worry ill leave you to unpack. Once it hits that point god is birthed forth. “but Zanobii I thought the throat chakra was where the womb or place of birthing happens.” yes, but this is the more subtle birth, remember everything is orgasmic. But it’s this true space of darkness that the seed of god works his way down, as he travels down he learns the process of enacting his will through speech, then being more emotional, and it continues till he grounds himself down. All the while growing through the journey, quite literally a replication or allegory of the first 7 years of a child’s life. 7 years? 7 chakras? yes, the connections are that simple. Perhaps another time over… say lavender tea? no no no not lavender to relaxing… hmm vanilla chai with a bit of mint anyone?
When I first started to connect the dots I was in a state of disbelief, but the more simplistic bridge that is built between these various islands of knowledge, the more I laugh. it is downright moronic how simple the connections are.
SO here you have this path of ascension utilizing the higher energies to bring yourself higher to connect, and then you bring it all back down. That descension is just as important, not only are you to be careful with actions and thought because you are using more energy than before, meaning faster manifestations, fewer space for errors, but it grounds in the higher energies to this reality. Without the moment to ground down they quite literally float back up, remember they are ethereal, airy. incredibly light in density. This is yes, just as easy as spending more time with nature. As you continue your journey of discovering yourself or spirituality you will find that the more conscious and aware you of your actions the easier it is to prevent a great deal of the suffering one experiences. You as a neophyte will be working backward, looking at the boulders, those physical actions, The actions of the habitual body that are plagued by triggers, from there your tongue, these are your pebbles, they are subtle. Like you tongue, they are slick and slippery, elusive. Much goes unnoticed. Then to a more subtle form, thought, the sand. These are harder to detect but they are quite literally the reason for much of what you go through on a day-to-day basis. Amazing how the unseen is often the most powerful. Lastly, you will get to an even more subtle form, can you guess? I’ll give you a hint, you have been reading about it in this entire series.
When you take in this understanding that not only is everything an orgasmic experience but you are quite literally moving this energy up and down all the time you see the power of nature. The quickest more surefire way to cement the energies that more attuned with the true authentic you, the core of you. Speaking of core this is where that light body begins to really feed, and therefore thrive and shine.
Do you see God’s power now?
Speaking of seeing… the eye.
Remember the place of birth? void, etc? Actually, in christ's letters, they go to speak about how Jesus is literally born from the forehead. Jesus or god, can’t remember which they used… but I digress.
In that void there is light. from darkness to thought, in retrospect this is the first birthing to take place within the system, the second being speech. but those golds streaks in the eye, man. It’s the sun. It is that light.
Speaking of sun….. midnight sun anyone? we will unpack that later.
Let’s hope into the finale.
How have my works impacted you so far?
