Ancestral Warrior
“What are you protecting yourself from? Will you sell your life for fear's price?”
― Laurence Galian, 666: Connection with Crowley
Completely inspired from working with Rapé and Ayahuasca over several sessions.
When one begins to venture into the forest of thought. One may find things, creepy crawly things, forever in the dust-filled corners of thy mind. Though can be treacherous it is not to be feared for it forever illuminating like the midnight sun. Though how is the neophyte to know? Whose green, freshly made feet have not trodden through filthy mud from the excrements of thought?
He won’t, but he should not fear for thy warrior is here. Arm in arm, back to back she teaches him courage through every forward foot placed. Strength through every black tree burned. Insight through every demon conquered. Only when has been cleared does see.
If we fail to conquer the demons that reside inside the mind, to be conquered you shall. Do not hate them, for they are you. To hate them is to hate you. Conquer them tame them, learn from them, great insight is to be had. Cherish these ventures into the dark forest of thought, for it’s these humble beginnings of self-hate and degradation that will allow so much gratitude to be had. For it is in its final transformation when the forest has been purified and its glow blinds will you fall to your knees in tears of joy. Thank you, ancestors, thank the warrior within you, the warrior beside you, the warrior who guides you.
As one who has ventured through the forest many a time, and who is on the precipice of purification let me say this, do not fear, for you are stronger and it is through that knowledge that you cannot be harmed.
